 Crisis Deployment Checklist (updated preview)

This is the one that matters when the game really begins:

Step 1: Confirm Trigger Conditions (Tier 1 or Tier 2)

  • Have at least TWO Tier 1 triggers fired? (20%+ drop, VIX > 40, Recession declared)
  • OR are ALL Tier 2 triggers active? (Central bank pivot + prior tranches deployed + stabilisation)

Step 2: Check Source of Funds

  • Am I deploying from my War Chest (Cash ISA/MMF)?
  • Do I have the correct tranche size ready?

Step 3: Verify Asset

  • Is this on my Shopping List?
  • Did I review my Conviction Notes for this asset?
  • Am I respecting the allocation plan (40/30/20/10 etc.)?

Step 4: Behavioural Safeguards

  • Have I read my Mindset Anchor aloud?
  • Have I spoken to my Buddy/AI Accountability Partner before pulling the trigger?
  • Am I reacting to media hype, or to my rules?

Step 5: Log the Action

  • Record date, asset, tranche size, rationale (short note) in Deployment Ledger.
  • Set reminder to review in next Quarterly Check-In.

Step 6: Execute Without Hesitation

  • Place the buy. Close the app. Walk away.

The difference between Fortress vs. Crisis is:

  • Fortress = simple, automatic, minimum logging.
  • Crisis = disciplined, rule-driven, extra safeguards.

Advancements Elsewhere - 19/09/2025

Four transfers later within the first month and I've reached £1,000 in cash ISA. It feels like progress. There is growing hope that I will reach my local target. I think it was around £12,500, I can't recall the exact end figure in the plan. I only remember what I need to do each week and stick to it.  My second pension payments coming up and it might coincide with the transfer of a second lost Scottish Widows pension. I won't get tax relief on the transfer as it has already been paid but an £425 one off monthly installment will make a nice different to that plan. I am still in the process of discovering lost pensions. I've missed one and it was an electronics assembler role I had when I was much much younger - a long time ago. I don't think it's great due to the rate I was earning at the time but I do think there should be some hidden cash somewhere as a result if that role for sure.  GILT payments are in schedule.
